Dr. Hilary Rondot
Originally from Ontario, I grew up mostly in Alberta where I've had a mix of city and rural influences. I started my academic journey at the University of Alberta where I received my Bachelor of Science in Agriculture before being accepted to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. During school I realized my passion for small and exotic animals, taking any opportunity I could do be more involved with different species through falconry and wildlife rehabilitation clubs as well as exotic animal externships. My career led me to Fort McMurray after the tragic forest fires of 2016, and Okotoks where I worked as a primary care and emergency veterinarian.
Over my years of practice I have developed a special interest in dermatology and preventative medicine. I strongly believe in working with clients to help their beloved pets have the happiest and healthiest lives possible. I did take a short break from the profession to start a family when I had my wonderful son, Gabriel. Now I am happy to be working in the city I call home as a member of the Britannia Kingsland & Crowchild Trail Veterinary Clinic teams.
